Joe Chesney
Joined Capital Excavation in 1992
Joe works with project managers and general superintendents to ensure high-quality pre-construction work, and with utility superintendents and foremen to coordinate subcontractor scheduling, material procurement, and client communications. Joe is a registered professional engineer and holds a B.S. in civil engineering from The University of Texas. He has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, and specializes in civil engineering design, client relations, project management and geographic information systems.
Bill Mayfield
Joined Capital Excavation in 1992
Bill is responsible for the management and coordination of all construction projects. He is dedicated not only to efficiency, teamwork and maintaining Capital Excavation’s high standards, but also to developing lasting relationships with our clients. He oversees subcontractors and daily operations for Capital Excavation’s many projects. Bill has nearly four decades in the Texas construction industry, including 12 years at Hensel Phelps, and seven at Hunter Industries. He remains active in the Association of General Contractors.
Scott Budd
Joined Capital Excavation in 2011
Leads the overall business strategy and operations, including development, turnkey construction and contract management for private client construction projects, including commercial site work and subdivision development.
